About Me
Hello! My name is Amanda Boniface,
I am very excited to join the PVSEA cougar family this year! This is my 3rd year in Pleasant Valley School District. I was previously a 4th grade at La Mariposa Elementary just down the road. I was born and raised just over the hill in Thousand Oaks. This summer I finally relocated to Camarillo. I moved up north for college and got my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University. During that time I spent one year in Florence, Italy as a part of the University's study abroad program. I consider that to be one of the best experiences of my life. If you ever want to talk about Italy or pizza, I am your person. After I graduated I realized that there is a reason Southern California is a destination vacation for so many people. We have better weather, nicer beaches but more importantly for me, my family. My return to Ventura County brought me to California State University Channel Islands where I got my teaching credentials. Today my free time is filled with family time, hiking, swimming, watching one of those Netflix shows that get really hard to turn off, dancing hula and reading. I look forward to learning with you or your child this year! |
